Elisa Duca, Artist

Board Member (since 2024)

 

Elisa Duca is a mixed media artist. Her performative installations invite you to suspend binary ideas of the digital and the real, the global and the local, the human and the more-than-human and to explore the potential of the in-betweenness.

She has lived in Berlin since 2004 and often works in Asia. She studied theatre, film and art history at the DAMS Institute of the University of Bologna while training as an actress. She has received funding and residency grants from various Goethe Institutes, the Capital Cultural Fund and the Berlin Senate Chancellery among others. She regularly presents work in Berlin and internationally.


Lena Fließbach, Independent Curator

Board Member (since 2021, currently on sabbatical leave)

 

Lena Fließbach is an independent curator, writer and mentor for sustainabilityIn 2022/2023 she is co-curating the discourse series Zero Waste - Art and Knowledge for Urania Berlin, combining experiences from science, art and the sustainability movement. Together with Hannah Beck-Mannagetta, Lena was curator of the exhibition Zero Waste, Museum of Fine Arts (MdbK), Leipzig, 2020, an international group show which  kept her own ecological footprint as small as possible and made it transparent. 


Yolanda Kaddu-Mulindwa, curator, director of the municipal galleries Neukölln, division of visual arts and art in urban space

Board Member (since 2023)

 

Yolanda Kaddu-Mulindwa is the director of the municipal galleries Neukölln, the division of visual arts and art in urban space in the district of Neukölln. She was curatorial assistant for the Festival of Future Nows 2014 at Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin and 2017 at Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart Berlin and worked for Light Art Space (LAS) in 2018. As a freelance curator, she conceived and organized two art festivals as part of the DRAUSSENSTADT initiative.


Nina Marlene Kraus, Curator 

Board Member (since 2024)

 

Nina Marlene Kraus is an art historian and curator based in Berlin. She holds an MA in art history, having studied in Berlin, Kraków and Santa Cruz, CA. Her research focusses on the narratives of feminist art history, artistic utopias as political strategies as well as institutional critique.

She curated exhibitions at Galerie im Körnerpark and Galerie im Saalbau and organized an open-air festival at Kunstbrücke am Wildenbruch. Currently, she is working as a coordinator for public art in Berlin Neukölln.


Sarah Maske, Independent Curator

Board Member (since 2021, currently on sabbatical leave)

 

Sarah Maske is an independent curator based in Berlin. She is co-founder of the long term-project Sandstorm - And Then There Was Dust and the French-German cultural festival L'autre rapport a la terre. She has worked on numerous exhibitions internationally, among others at Museum Wiesbaden, ZKM | Center for Art and Media, Karlsruhe, Daimler Contemporary, Berlin, and Depo, Istanbul.


Petra Ronzani 

Board Member (since 2023)

 

Petra Ronzani  is invested in researching and shaping our current social environments with a focus on the changing realities of togetherness. Throughout her career she has been managing transformation processes, building and leading teams and mediating - between people, hierarchies, between today and tomorrow. After 15 years in leading positions at institutions such as the Haus der Kunst in Munich, the Bavarian State Opera, the Berlin Volksbühne or Henn Architects, she founded Ronzani & Partner in 2021. Her company offers advice to those who feel the future is equal to the present and more importantly: to those who respect the uniting potential of fun.


ANna Tautfest

Board Member (since 2024)

 

ANna Tautfest is an artist based in Berlin and Hamburg. She has a diverse educational background, having studied fine art at the UdK in Berlin, the Art Students League in New York City, and the HfbK in Hamburg. She recently completed her PhD thesis.

ANna´s artistic practice lies at the intersection of fine art and text production. She expresses her ideas through various mediums, including art installations, performances, and book formats. Her performances often involve audience participation and collaboration, creating a sense of communal engagement through activities like eating, reading, writing, and sharing taking place in galleries and project spaces.
