VALESKA HAGENEY, CURATOR AND WRITER
Valeska Hageney moved to Berlin in 1999. She worked for various galleries in Berlin and was Managing Director of a Berlin Collection. In 2011, Valeska founded the project space REH Kunst, which she has led until September, 2013. Since January, 2016 she leads together with Mareike Spendel and Natalie Weiland the project space Centrum in Berlin-Neukölln.

ASTRID HAMM, SENIOR DIRECTOR, EIGEN + ART, BERLIN
Astrid Hamm graduated from the University of Leipzig in Cultural and Theatre Studies and has been working at Galerie EIGEN + ART since 2003. From 2005–09 she contributed to building the base of the Leipzig subsidiary at Leipziger Baumwollspinnerei and subsequently worked there. In 2012, she took on the management of the project space EIGEN + ART LAB at Ehemalige Jüdische Mädchenschule Berlin up until 2014. Since 2015, she is Senior Director at the Berlin headquarters of Galerie EIGEN + ART. Her work primarily involves Exhibition Management, Artist Mentoring and Sales.

FRIEDERIKE HAUFFE, ART HISTORIAN AND LECTURER
Friederike Hauffe holds a Ph.D. in art history and has been a lecturer in that field at Freie Universität Berlin for 20 years. She is head of various study programs at different universities since 2007, including “Management im Kunstmarkt” (Art Market Management) at Freie Universität Berlin, “Kuratieren“ (Curating) at Berlin University of the Arts, and together with Anna Kathrin Distelkamp “Kunst | Werk | Nachlass” (Art | Œuvre | Estate) at Berlin University of the Arts and in Switzerland “Werk- und Nachlass-Management” (Œuvre and Estate Management at Bern University of the Arts. Besides she advises artists, galleries, collectors and art estates on conceptual and management issues. She is also a member of the executive board of the Bundesverband Künstlernachlässe – BKN (Federal Association of Artists’ Estates).

SANDRA HAUSER, ARTIST
Sandra Hauser is an interdisciplinary artist. She continuously crosses borders of different media, ranging from small drawings to sculpture, painting and film to encompassing performances. Her artistic practice could be considered an evocative and radical exploration of the borders between political reality, fiction and her personal phantasies. As a result, her work is often described in terms such as ‚universal dilettantism’ and ‘subjective realism.’ She studied art at Akademie der Bildenden Künste München with Prof. Stephan Huber and Prof. Hans Op de Beeck. After practicing her art from studios in Munich and Rome/Italy, she moved to Berlin. Her multi-disciplinary works have been shown mainly in Germany and Italy, but also in other European countries and the US.

BRITT JANINA HEINKER, ARTIST MANAGEMENT, ART CONSULTANT & CURATOR
Britt Janina Heinker studied cultural science and law (BA) at the University of Bremen and art museum & gallery studies (MA) at Newcastle University in Great Britain. After assisting at LWL State Museum for Natural Science in Muenster, Side Gallery for Photography in Newcastle upon Tyne and Circle Culture Gallery in Berlin and Hamburg, she is now working as an art consultant and project manager for different art- and cultural institutions such as the Berlin based companies coGalleries and GoArt!.Furthermore Britt is in charge of the studio management of collage/decollage artist Pola Brändle and artist duo Various & Gould and works as a freelance curator.
ALINA HEINZE, MUSEUM DIRECTOR
Alina Heinze studied literature, history, and art history in Berlin and has worked for various newspapers. Since September, 2011, she is the director of THE KENNEDYS. The museum belongs to CAMERA WORK AG. Its permanent exhibition focuses on the much-cited Kennedy myth. Furthermore, the museum presents in-house curated special exhibitions on various themes several times a year.
NADINE ISABELLE HENRICH, ART HISTORIAN AND CURATOR
Nadine Isabelle Henrich M.A. is a curator, PhD candidate and researcher with a focus on photography and media art, based in Berlin. In the past she has co-curated numerous exhibitions, e.g. »Cy Twombly Photographs« at Galerie Bastian, Berlin (2016), »Serial Formations 1967/2017« (2017), »Sound on the 4th Floor« (2019) and »31: Women« (2020) at Daimler Contemporary, Berlin. 2018/2019 she curated the show »Evoking Reality. Constituting actuality in photography and video art« for the Daimler Art Collection, Stuttgart/Berlin. In 2019 she was appointed as a juror for the nomination of the Karl-Hofer Grants of Universität der Künste. Her PhD-research, supervised by Prof. Peter Geimer at Freie Universität Berlin, seeks to for the first time explore the photographic practice of American Post-War artist Cy Twombly. Currently, she is working for Daimler Contemporary, Berlin.
ELIANA HEREDIA, PLASTIC ARTIST
Ever since my first approach to plastic arts I have been trying to conquer space in my artwork. In an attempt to evoke an aesthetic impression for the observer I create installations by remantisizing material from everyday life. The so produced installations offer a journey through timeless and psychological landscapes. In order to produce such views, I use everyday commodities that reacted in combination or when influenced by water, air or change of temperature. These materials show alteration and agitation because of their immanent psycho-chemical character.

JULIA HERFURTH, ARTIST
Julia Herfurth studied Fine Arts at Bauhaus University Weimar. Her etchings, photographs and site-specific installations have been shown since 2007 at national and international exhibitions and art festivals. In 2018 she completed the postgraduate M.A. Art in Context at Berlin University of the Arts, in which she specialized in in participatory art, in theory and practice respectively. She is a member of the SALOON Berlin board.

KATIA HERMANN, INDEPENDENT CURATOR
Katia Hermann is a French-German independent curator, art historian and cultural manager. She studied cultural management and history of art in Paris, worked on documentary movie productions and managed exhibition productions in Paris. She curated several exhibitions in Berlin since 2001 for Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz, savvy contemporary, House of World Cultures, Humboldt Universität zu Berlin and alternative art spaces. Besides commissions, she is supporting artists with socially relevant subjects through own projects. She continues working as a writer and for film productions.

CARLA MERCEDES HIHN, ARTIST
Structures and views of cities, memories and atmospheres of certain spaces are the main themes Carla Mercedes Hihn´s installations are based on. She creates transparent images that interact with each other and with the space creating multiple levels of perception. People entering the space become part of the artwork.

SARA HOFFMANN, ARTIST AND CURATOR
Sara Hoffmann studied Photography at Folkwang University Essen, Rietveld Academy Amsterdam and Media & Fine Arts at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Inspired by her surroundings and every day life she develops artworks concerning social and political issues. Her installations, drawings, videos and photographs have been exhibited for example at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, Videonale Bonn, European Media Art Festival Osnabrück, Sammlung Philara Düsseldorf, Museum Kunstpalast Düsseldorf, Folkwang Museum Essen, de Brakke Grond Amsterdam and FotoK Vienna.

NINA HORSTMANN, ART HISTORIAN
Nina Horstmann has a dual background in art history and environmental studies, both of which have been big part of her career to this point. She owns a unique blend of expertise in art & science collaborations and strategic programme-leading across multiple disciplines with a keen interest in sustainability. At the Hybrid Plattform – an initative by the Technische Universität Berlin and the University of the Arts Berlin – she brings together art, science and technology. Nina is passionate about leading change by building new networks, facilitating co-creation, mobilising people and stakeholders and shaping of new and exciting transformative programmes.
STEFANIE IPPENDORF, ART EDUCATOR, AUTHOR, CURATOR
Stefanie Ippendorf co-founded art education-collective KUNSTKOMPLIZEN (Accomplices in Art), runs different workshops or gives guided tours at Martin-Gropius-Bau,
within art education-projects of Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin and German Red Cross (DRK). She curated various exhibitions at Kunstraum Düsseldorf, Sammlung
Philara (Düsseldorf), and Wagner + Partner (Berlin), being especially interested in aspects of failure. She writes numerous texts about art (audio guides, catalog essays,
reviews).

MEGGIE JAWORSKI, GALLERY MANAGER AT SEXAUER AND PROJECT MANAGER
Directly after the graduation at the University of Leipzig, it was all about managing. First the SØR Rusche Collection Oelde/Berlin and since 2015 the SEXAUER Gallery in Berlin. In her spare time she keeps on managing, festival planning or artist assistance i.e. Next to the fine arts her professional interest draw her towards design and experimental music. Another project is a Phd, but that will come later.

MICHELLE JEZIERSKI, ARTIST
Michelle Jezierski’s paintings play with light, patterns, space and their effect on perception. Abstract landscapes are juxtaposed with striations of light which disturb the pictorial plane, creating the illusion of multiple spaces. Rejecting narration, the images are at once surreal and strangely evocative. Born in Berlin to American parents, she studied at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. Her work has been exhibited in Croatia, Israel, USA and Italy. She is held in the Simmons & Simmons, Lalux and Vattenfall collections among others.

CE JIAN, ARTIST
Ce Jian (*1984) is a Chinese-born German artist who mainly works in painting, drawing and installation. Her practice focuses on image traditions and their topicality, perception in spacial contexts, and the relation between painting and techno-visual cultures. She graduated from the UdK Berlin in 2008 and holds a PhD in Art and Visual History from the Humboldt University. Working between Berlin and Beijing, she has exhibitions in Europe and Asia, including shows at White Space (Beijing), Gallery SU: (Seoul), and Peres Projects (Berlin).

EVA JORDAN, DIRECTOR OF ART VON FREI
With a long-standing international background as an artist/curator, Eva Jordan moved from New York to Berlin in 2014. In April, 2015, she opened Art von Frei, located at
Brunnenstrasse 187, directly opposite of the U8 station Rosenthaler Platz in Mitte. The gallery holds seven exhibitions a year, showing works of the gallery artists, as well as selected guest
artists. Represented mediums are collage, drawing, painting, sculpture, and performance. The program includes openings, performances, and artist talks. Outside of the gallery space, Art von Frei
curates further exhibitions and participates in international art fairs.

KATHARINA JÖRDER, ART HISTORIAN
Katharina Jörder is an art historian specialising in African photography. For her PhD project on South African propaganda photography during
apartheid she was funded by Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. In 2016 Katharina was a visiting researcher at Wits University, Johannesburg. Prior to that she worked at the Walther Collection,
Chert gallery, and Studio Tomás Saraceno. Most recently she was a research assistant at the collaborative research centre “Affective Societies” at Freie Universität Berlin. Her essays have been
published internationally in journals and volumes such as Fotogeschichte and Troubling Images: Visual Culture and the Politics of Afrikaner Nationalism (2020).

NICA JUNKER, ARTIST
Since her graduation as a film director in 2005 at the Filmuniversität Potsdam-Babelsberg and as a Photographer from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London in 2008, Nica Junker collaborated as an artist with institutions world wide and her work was published internationally. She won a couple of awards, grants and artist-in-residencies over the last years. In 2019, she also finished her PhD studies in artistic research at the Kunstuniversität Linz in Austria.

YOLANDA KADDU-MULINDWA, curator and director of the municipal galleries Neukölln, division of visual arts and art in urban space
Yolanda Kaddu-Mulindwa is the director of the municipal galleries Neukölln, the division of visual arts and art in urban space in the district of Neukölln. She studied art and cultural history at the University of Augsburg and completed her master´s degree in art and visual history at Humboldt University in Berlin. She was curatorial assistant for the Festival of Future Nows 2014 at Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin and 2017 at Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart Berlin and worked for Light Art Space (LAS) in 2018. As a freelance curator, she conceived and organized two art festivals as part of the DRAUSSENSTADT initiative.
LAURA KÄDING, ART HISTORIAN AND CURATOR
Laura Käding studied History of Art and Visual History in Jena and Humboldt-University Berlin, graduating with an MA in 2016. Her master thesis examines the work Internal Objects in Three Parts by Anish Kapoor, who she worked for in his London studio in 2013. 2013-2015 she worked at Contemporary Fine Arts Gallery Berlin, in 2016 she was studio assistant to Berlin based artist Julian Rosefeldt. Since 2016 she is freelancing as project manager on various art projects, e.g. the cross-genre collaboration Nicht Abstrakt and Not Abstract II of Andreas Gursky and Richie Hawtin, with exhibitions at K20 museum in Dusseldorf and Gagosian Gallery in New York.
BIANCA KENNEDY, ARTIST
Bianca Kennedy studied art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and completed her diploma with a Meisterschüler-degree (2017). Scholarships have brought her to North America, Barcelona, Athens and Tokyo. Kennedy's animations, drawings and site-specific installations were shown at Kunstverein Munich, Kuandu Museum Taipei, C-Gallery Milan and Colombo Art Biennale in Sri Lanka among others. In her analytical stop motion animations she depicts the human abyss and works regularly on photographies and drawing series where she stages self-created miniatures.

LUCIA KEMPKES, ARTIST
Lucia Kempkes works around near-future scenarios of mobility, emotional attachments and personal investment in the matter of landscape, and the sociocultural meaning of adventure (as well as the objects we developed to get out there). She creates conceptual works interlacing drawing, sculpture, carpet knotting, and video. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is part of public collections in London, Marrakesh and Berlin. She was Artist in Residence at institutions such as the Seoul Museum of Art (NANJI), at Pioneer Works New York and at Rote Fabrik Zürich.

KATHARINA KIEBACHER, ARTIST
Katharina Kiebacher is a Berlin-based artist working with a variety of mediums, particularly considering the crossovers between 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional manifestations. Her work shares a curiosity and inspiration that is drawn from everyday life with a playful and poetic approach to art making. Katharina Kiebacher studied at the Folkwangschule Essen and received a MA in Fine Art from the Glasgow School of Art.

MARTE KIESSLING, ARTIST AND CURATOR
Marte Kiesslings artwork is based on self-reflecting situations in the changing surroundings and the experiences she makes during residencies and projects around the world. She employs local legends, space and situations of the surroundings and cultural customs of the various countries, resulting in mixed-media animations, video, slides, light installations and objects combined in self-contained systems. Additionally she works with the international artist group Global Alien, which deals with globalization, migration and language and projects with various other artists from around the world.

CHRISTINE SUN KIM, ARTIST
Christine Sun Kim uses the medium of sound in performance and drawing to investigate her relationship with spoken languages and her aural environment. Selected exhibitions and performances include solo shows at White Space Beijing, London’s Carroll/Fletcher gallery, and De Appel, Amsterdam, alongside group shows at NyMusikk in Oslo, Sound Live Tokyo, the Berlin and Shanghai biennials, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Rubin Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art and MoMa PS1 in New York. Kim was awarded TED and MIT Media Lab Fellowships. When not writing emails, she spends time reading celebrity gossip, watching makeup tutorials on Instagram, and finding easy cooking recipes that she may never get around to trying.

FRAU KIM, DIRECTOR at einBuch.haus
Kim is an exhibition designer and also serves as a director at the einBuch.haus, art book platform & publishing house located in Pankow, Berlin. She studied Information Experience Design at the Royal College of Art in London, UK. Kim examined the interaction between the identity of a public place and human experience, and also a way to develop a cultural phenomenon by creating a culture place in the public space which we are unconsciously surrounded by. As a communication tool, she tries to put the novelty in the familiarity on the way we see things and surroundings to trigger our common sense to combine with new information. In addition, she considers visitor’s spatial experience in different ways.

ANNEKE KLEIMANN, ARTIST
Anneke Kleimann’s sculptures materialize ephemeral phenomena like time, sound and movement. The sources of her sculptures are often measurable but not graspable. Out of these “real fictions”, through moulding processes, she develops subjective statements of notional models. She works with different materials like plastic, ceramic, paper and wood, as well as with sound. As an example, one of her sculptures perspectively transforms 0,057 seconds of the sound of the sea into a drawing in space. Kleimann studied Fine Arts at the Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg and at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris.

MAILIN VON KNOBELSDORF, JURIST
Mailin von Knobelsdorff studied law in Würzburg, Berlin, and Tel Aviv. She focused on Intellectual Property, esp. the return of cultural goods. Then she worked for Emil Nolde Stiftung and at Raue LLP in Berlin. She is involved in several of Berlin's friend's associations in the arts and cultural sector and gives legal advice for Intellectual Property, esp. for the Young Friends of Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation Berlin-Brandenburg (the „Fritzen“) that she also co-founded.

NADINE KOLODZIEY, VISUAL ARTIST AND ILLUSTRATOR
Nadine Kolodziey is a visual artist and illustrator based in Frankfurt and Berlin. She works at the intersection of digital and analog with the goal of creating visual experiences. She combines materials such as plastic and pixels to create work that is hand-cut, melted, or transformed into walkable augmented reality environments. She’s interested in new challenges, deep-diving in AR, and doing big-scale installations and projects in Japan in the future. Kolodziey has been part of Galerie Königs first digital selection ‚Messe in St.Agnes‘ 2020 and is part of the Berlin Saloon Artist network since 2019.
JULIET KOTHE, CULTURAL SCIENTIST
Juliet Kothe is a cultural scientist and director of the Boros Foundation in Berlin. She worked at the Association of Arts and Culture of the German Economy at the Federation of German Industries (Kulturkreis der Deutschen Wirtschaft im BDI e. V.). Juliet Kothe also works as a freelance curator and writer. Since 2013 she voluntarily works for the NGO One Fine Day e. V. Together with the founder Marie Steinmann-Tykwer she supervises an on going art project in Nairobi with contemporary artists from Berlin.

KRISTINA KRAMER, CURATOR AND WRITER
Kristina Kramer is a curator for contemporary art living in Berlin since 2013. Previously, she was based in Istanbul where she has initiated, curated and organized numerous projects and exhibitions with young local and international artists. Among others, with Polistar she created a an exhibition space which was focused on a discursive perspective and international cooperation. In addition, she realized various community-based projects such as the travelling archive Even my mum can make a book (with Gamze Özer and Timothee Huguet). From 2013 to 2014 Kramer was working at the Berlin City Museum as part of the Fellowship International Museum initiated by the Federal Cultural Foundation. Most recently, she worked in Dresden at the German Hygiene Museum as assistant curator of the exhibition AIDS - Based on a true story.

NINA MARLENE KRAUS, ART HISTORIAN AND CURATOR
Nina Marlene Kraus is an art historian and curator based in Berlin. She holds an MA in art history, having studied in Berlin, Kraków (Poland) and Santa Cruz, CA.
Her current research focusses on the narratives of feminist art history, artistic utopias as political strategies as well as institutional critique. During her latest work for the three municipal galleries Neukölln in Berlin, she curated exhibitions at Galerie im Körnerpark and Galerie im Saalbau and organized a festival as part of DRAUSSENSTADT at Kunstbrücke am Wildenbruch.

Jaqueline Krickl is lecturer for history of art, design, and media at Lette Verein Berlin, author and curator. She studied business administration, history of art, and cultural science. She is co-founder and member of the board of the art association Initiative temporäre Kunsträume e.V., within she realized the exhibition series Kunstraum AVUS (2008-2013) and co-published the related extensive documentation and analysis (2013). For contemporary artists she creates texts for catalogues, most recently for Claudia Brieske, Anlandung (2014).

CAROLINE KRYZECKI, ARTIST
Caroline Kryzecki is a Berlin based artist. She holds a Master of Fine Arts at the UdK Berlin (2009) and was an artist in residence in Istanbul (Berlin Senate), Mosambik and Tanzania (DAAD). Her artistic practice includes drawing, painting and in situ pieces. Currently she is mainly working on her large ballpoint pen drawings. Her works emerge between a mix from perfection and error. Exhibitions in Germany and abroad at Kunsthalle Exnergasse, Vienna, Polistar and Art International, Istanbul, Galerie fiebach, minninger, Cologne, Arratia Beer, Kwadrat, and Autocenter, Berlin. Caroline Kryzecki is represented by Sexauer Gallery.
